Common appointments in Romtelecom and COSMOTE Romania

Romtelecom and COSMOTE Romania announce the following common appointments, starting 1st of October, 2013, in line with the two companies' effort to improve their collaboration and areas of synergies:

• Chief Commercial Officer Residential Segment Romania
• Chief Commercial Officer Business Segment Romania
• Chief Technology and Operations Officer Romania
• Chief Human Resources Officer Romania
• Chief Financial Officer Romania
• Chief Information Officer Romania

The above positions will report to the CEO of Romtelecom and COSMOTE Romania.

Commercial function - in order to better respond to segment and channel specific needs of the customers, the positions of Chief Commercial Officer Residential Segment Romania and Chief Commercial Officer Business Customers Romania will be reporting to the CEO and the position of Commercial Officer Romania will no longer exist. 

Mr. Mathias Hanel, currently Chief Commercial Officer Romania, is appointed as Chief Commercial Officer - Residential Segment Romania (fixed and mobile operations, Romtelecom and COSMOTE Romania). In this new role, Mr. Hanel will be responsible to coordinate all the residential customer-facing commercial efforts and initiatives of the two organizations. 

Mr. Ovidiu Ghiman, currently Chief Residential Officer Romtelecom, is appointed as Chief Commercial Officer - Business Segment Romania (fixed and mobile operations, Romtelecom and COSMOTE Romania). In this new role, Mr. Ghiman will be responsible to coordinate all the corporate customer-facing commercial activities and initiatives of the two organizations.

Mr. Mihai Tudor, currently Chief Commercial Officer - Business Segment Romtelecom, will be leaving the group to pursue other opportunities.

Mr. Bob Konstantinidis, currently Chief Technology and Operations Officer Romtelecom, is appointed as Chief Technology and Operations Officer Romania (fixed and mobile operations, Romtelecom and COSMOTE Romania). In his new position, Mr. Konstantinidis will be responsible for the development of the technology strategy, planning, implementation and coordination of all technology and operations activities and initiatives of the two organizations.

Mr. Lampros Iskos, the current Chief Technical Officer of COSMOTE Romania, will continue his career within the Deutsche Telekom Group, as Director of Technology for T-Mobile Netherlands, overseeing the Technology and IT functions.

Mrs. Anca Georgescu-Aladgem, currently Chief Human Resources Officer Romtelecom, is appointed as Chief Human Resources Officer Romania (fixed and mobile operations, Romtelecom and COSMOTE Romania). In this role, Mrs. Georgescu-Aladgem will be responsible to coordinate all the human resources activities and initiatives of the two organizations.

Mrs. Liliana Danaila, currently Human Resources Division Director COSMOTE Romania will be leaving the group to pursue other career opportunities.

Mr. Anastasios Tzoulas, currently Chief Financial Officer Romtelecom, is appointed as Chief Financial Officer Romania (fixed and mobile operations, Romtelecom and COSMOTE Romania). In this role, Mr. Tzoulas will be responsible to coordinate all the finance and accounting activities and initiatives of the two organizations.

Mr. Konstantinos Apostolou, currently Financial Division Director COSMOTE Romania, is appointed Financial Integration Director, reporting to the Chief Financial Officer Romania. He will be overseeing the financial operational integration of the two companies. 

Mr. Timos Tsokanis, currently Chief Information Officer Romtelecom, is appointed as Chief Information Officer Romania (fixed and mobile operations, Romtelecom and COSMOTE Romania). In this role, Mr. Tsokanis will be responsible to coordinate all the information technology infrastructure evolution, systems development and operation of the two organizations.

Mr. Konstantinos Petsas, currently Information Technology Division Director COSMOTE Romania, will continue to support the development efforts in the IT area, leading the transformation processes for enhancing the performance in this field and reporting to the Chief Information Officer Romania.
