New sizes for COSMOTE voice and data portfolio

Smartphones are a necessity nowadays, being used from social communication with family and friends up to setting the roots of a business by planning meetings and being always updated with all the news. Thus, in line with its goal to become a smartphone centric operator, COSMOTE Romania introduces the new structure for its postpaid residential portfolio and for Connect Mobile extraoptions. 

The new tariff plans offer more benefits, more data included and a bonus of national SMSes, while the new Connect Mobile Postpaid and Prepaid portfolio caters to our customers' increasing need of flexible connectivity solutions. 

The new range of tariff plans brings more data traffic for COSMOTE customers, up to 3GB with COSMOTE Smart XXL+. Customers can use their smartphones at full capacity and without worrying about the money they pay. The packages offer an excellent value for money, starting from 6.2 euro/month (VAT included) for COSMOTE XS+ up to 56 euro/month (VAT included) for the new COSMOTE Smart XXL+.

Moreover, the range COSMOTE XS+ - XXL+ comes with an advantageous promotional offer. Customers who choose a 24 month contract will receive a bonus of national SMSes, granted for the first 6 calendar months since activation; in addition to that, customers who choose one of COSMOTE M+, L+, XL+ or XXL+ subscriptions receive unlimited on-net calls and SMS-es for the first month since activation.

Connectivity to Internet is also a main challenge nowadays. The new Connect Mobile portfolio, both postpaid and prepaid, allows customers to access Internet on both handsets and laptops, using the handset as a modem. In this way, customers can have access to Internet, e-mail and social networks no matter if they are on the move, at home or at the office.

The postpaid portfolio includes four different extra-options, offering from 400 MB to 4 GB of data-traffic (according to specific customer needs).

At end-September, COSMOTE Romania was offering mobile broadband download speeds of up to 43.2 Mbps in 74 main cities within the country, representing more than 41% of the population. Moreover, customers could enjoy speeds of up to 21.6 Mbps in HSPA+ technology in 147 cities across the country. Overall, 3G services cover more than 68% of the Romanian population.
