New CEO of Millennium Bank Romania begins mandate

Following the approval of the National Bank of Romania, Jose Reino da Costa begins his mandate as the new Chief Executive Officer of Millennium Bank Romania.
The new CEO was appointed by Millennium Bank Romania's Board of Directors to replace Jose Toscano after six years on job. Along his mandate as Millennium Bank's CEO, Jose Toscano contributed to setting up and launching the greenfield project, in October 2007, expanding the territorial network and then stabilizing the business, within a very challenging economic context.
Jose Reino da Costa, 48, has a vast international experience in the financial sector, acquired along almost 14 years he has been a Millennium bcp group associate. Before coming to Romania he worked in various economic environments, such as Portugal, Macau and Angola. Over the last four years he was the CEO of Millennium Bank in Angola where he contributed significantly to the bank's impressive development on the Angolan market.
Jose Reino da Costa's main objective is to continue the development strategy of Millennium Bank Romania, with the same strong commitment of Millennium bcp group towards the local market.
Millennium Bank Romania has now 65 branches and almost 700 employees.
