2012 first half financial results of Millennium Bank Romania
Publish date: 30-07-2012
Millennium Bank Romania changed the calculation methodology of the interest income, following the IFRS implementation in Romania. As a result, the banking income for the first half of 2012 is not comparable to the one reported for the same period of 2011.
In comparable terms - i.e. using the same methodology in force in 2011 - the total banking revenues reached 14.5 million euros at the end of June 2012, which means 1% less than in June 2011 (instead of 28.1%), as a consequence of lower FX and trading revenues. As for the core income, made of the net revenues obtained from interests and commissions, it increased to 13.1 million euros, 4% higher than in the first half of 2011.
