CCR to judge notifications of laws on salaries and pensions cuts, on June 24
Publish date: 17-06-2010All the notifications and the intimations on the lack of constitutionality of the bills on public sector staff wages and pensions slash,will be judged by the Romanian Constitutional Court (CCR), on June 24.
The National Liberal Party (PNL) and the Social Democratic Party (PSD), both in opposition, notified the Romanian Constitutional Court on the lack of constitutionality of the laws on the measures to be taken with a view to get the budgetary balance recovered, namely of that law package on which the Government assumed responsibility in front of the Parliament.
Judges from the High Court of Cassation and Justice (ICCJ) have also sent to the Constitutional Court (CCR) two notifications on the lack of constitutionality of some articles in the bills on public sector staff wages and pensions slash, on which the Government assumed responsibility
