Accord with EC, IMF and WB mission: additional measures for a deficit of 7.3 pct of GDP in 2010
Publish date: 12-05-2010The European Commission, International Monetary Fund and World Bank joint mission, on one hand and the Romanian authorities, on the other, reached an agreement on the additional measures needed for a budget deficit of 7.3 percent of the GDP in 2010, EC, IMF and WB inform in a declaration.
Such a consolidation effort is required in order to place the public finances in Romania on a solid basis, at the same time with the creation of the conditions for a solid economic recovery, says the declaration.
The European Commission, International Monetary Fund and World Bank joint mission concluded talks with the Romanian authorities on the implementation of the programme of measures afferent to the multilateral assistance package in value of 20 billion euros.
