Romania's Govt Approves Introduction Of Electronic Toll Stickers As Of August 1
Publish date: 01-02-2010The electronic system for the issue and control of Romanian toll stickers will become active on August 1, and the current toll sticker system will remain valid until the end of the year, Romania's Prime Minister Emil Boc said Friday.
The Government approved Friday the ordinance introducing the electronic system for the issue and control of toll stickers, and the system will become active starting August this year.
Early this year, CNADNR selected the Novensys Corporation/UTI Systems consortium to deliver the system, in a contract worth 35.96 million lei (EUR1=RON4.1220), VAT not included.
