EU funds worth 500 M euros, to help jobless back to work
Publish date: 01-02-2010Prime Minister Emil Boc said in the end of the government sitting, on Friday that he asked the Labour Ministry to draw up the subsequent normative acts for the programme on the employment of the jobless, which is to get operational on the European Social Fund's money.
'Within the Programme, worth over 1 billion euros, the Labour Ministry will prepare the subsequent normative acts to make it more accessible and supply more information to the companies. And based on this programme, the companies hiring youth and jobless over 40 of age, as well as people with special needs, can pay from the EU money, up to 50 percent of the salaries of the newly employed, for one year long,' PM Boc pointed out.
