Romanian Tax Agency Blocks Realitatea Media's Bk Accounts - Sources
Publish date: 21-01-2010Romania's tax administration agency, or ANAF, blocked Wednesday the bank accounts of Realitatea Media for 4.89 million lei (EUR1=RON4.1196) financial debts, mainly representing unpaid contributions to the social insurance budget, ANAF sources told MEDIAFAX.
According to the sources, the blocked accounts are opened with BRD Societe Generale, OTP Bank, Egnatia Bank, CEC, BCR, MKB Romexterra, Banca Franco-Romana, Anglo-Romanian Bank.
By the hour of broadcasting the news, Realitatea Media's representatives could not be contacted for comments.
Realitatea Media owns the TV stations Realitatea TV and Money Channel.
