Romanian Carmaker Dacia Grants RON110 Wage Hike, RON400 Bonus To Its Staff
Publish date: 30-09-2009The employers of Romanian carmaker Automobile Dacia will be granted a wage hike of 110 lei (EUR1=RON4.1851) and an average bonus of RON400 as of September 1, the company owned by French group Renault said Tuesday.
"Last week the management board and the unionists had the second round of negotiations for 2009 regarding wages. The management board of Dacia took into account keeping the current purchase power of the employees in the current context," the company said in a statement.
The employees will receive the increased salaries in the first part of October. This is the second wage hike granted by Automobile Dacia this year. The first round of negotiations in February resulted in a wage hike of RON70 from January 1 and RON40 as of April 1.
The company thus grants a general increase of RON220 this year.The employees of the company received this year a bonus of RON700 for their contribution to the company's 2008 profit, a RON614 bonus for Easter and a vacation bonus of RON818.
