Publish date: Astazi, 21-09-2009The total amounts spent by state over the first eight months of the year for public investment projects exceeded slightly half of the total budget by nearly 20 per cent of GDP, and the budgetary funds to support such type of investments could be raised next year, Mediafax informs.
PM Emil Boc said, on Friday, that until end of August, an amount accounting for 55 per cent of the total budget earmarked to public investment was spent, standing for EUR 4.5 bln. On the other side, National Fund for SMEs Loan Guarantees conveyed the banks decisions and contracts on collateral for 2853 beneficiaries of the program "Prima Casa". This one is processing 289 documentations, those prevailing being the ones for purchasing old lodging spaces, according to PM Boc. In addition, Boc inquired about the stage of the works at
Baneasa Passage. He promised the workers that he would attend the inauguration of the bridge, in December, when the completion of the passage is scheduled. He visited this Friday the site of Baneasa Passage, together with Transport Minister, Radu Berceanu, inquiring inclusively on the possible financing issues and the workers work program.
Berceanu said that the technical project of Baneasa Passage, designed by Search Corporation, is "much too complicated and costly", another technical solution being by up to 30 per cent less expensive. He actually proposed a cheaper solution, namely the construction of false walls, along with digging canals to take over the rain water.
