The Romanian government sent the draft unitary pay law to the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank for consultation and Prime Minister Emil Boc and cabinet members will have a final talk on Sunday on all the laws for which the government will take responsibility before Parliament.

"The government sent the salary law to the IMF and the World Bank for consultations, and the draft will be sent to Parliament Monday morning, along the other drafts that will be adopted by assuming responsibility," official sources told MEDIAFAX Sunday.

On Saturday, the prime minister and ministers checked to see if changes decided with unions had been introduced in the unitary pay law. The drafts are still being analyzed from a technical point of view on Sunday and will be sent to Parliament Monday morning.

The prime minister announced Wednesday night the government had decided in the weekly Cabinet Meeting to assume responsibility before Parliament for the adoption of the three laws regarding education, wages in the public sector and the reorganization of government agencies to cut spending in the public sector.

The government's letter regarding its decision to take responsibility for the draft laws was received by the Parliament on Friday and the reunited Standing Offices of the legislative power will meet Monday to set up a calendar for the procedure.
