Net profit amounted to USD 62.4 M, down by 35 per cent, from USD 95.6 M.
Within Central and Eastern Europe area, PepsiAmericas sales diminished by 32 per cent in Q2 compared to the same amount of time of the previous year, to USD 246 M, because of a negative impact of 27 per cent brought by volatility in the foreign exchange markets. In the region, Pepsi is active in Romania, Ukraine, Poland, Hungary, Czech Republic and Slovakia.
