Anti-crisis measures related to Gov't taking responsibility
Publish date: 25-08-2009The leaders of the ruling coalition of the Democratic-Liberal Party, PD-L, and the Social-Democratic Party, PSD, will assume responsibility in Parliament.
According to the first vice-president of PD-L Adriean Videanu, the anti-crisis measures of assuming the governmental responsibility are: the non-taxation of the reinvested profit, the support of the export production, especially by guarantees and counter-guarantees, the improvement of the Law of investment, mainly by the reduction in the guarantees and the simplification of the legislative procedures, the introduction of the lump-sum tax where the fiscal evasion is hard to evaluate, the extension of the framework related to the public-private partnership, the adoption of the Law on fiscal responsibility.
Videanu has insisted on the economic effects on a medium term of the measures assumed and has mentioned that the budget effort for their implementation in 2009 stands at 248 million Lei, and it is expected to generate an additional revenue in 2010 of 398 million Lei.
Adriean Videanu has also mentioned that the 32 anti-crisis measures agreed with PD-L and PSD can be applied administratively, at the level of the ministries, by government resolutions or by assuming the responsibility of the Executive.
On another line of thought, the first-vice-president of PD-L mentioned that in the next period continued will be the consultations with the local authorities regarding the introduction of the cost standards in the local public administration, so that, from Jan 1, 2010, they can be applied.
