Car giant Ford appoints new administrator at Romanian automaker Automobile Craiova
Publish date: 26-06-2009American car producer Ford Motor Company named Kenneth Macfarlane as the new administrator of the local carmaker Automobile Craiova, according to the decisions completed in the shareholder meeting.
Kenneth Macfarlane will replace Dinel Staicu as SIF Oltenia (SIF5) is no longer shareholder at Automobile Craiova. SIF5 sold its 22.56 percent stake in April, for about 75 million lei.
Automobile Craiova has a share capital of 39.78 million lei, divided into 18.94 million shares, at a face value of 2.10 lei. Ford owns 96.66 percent of the share capital.
Shares of Automobile Craiova are traded on the Rasdaq over-the-counter market at the XMBS section, under the symbol AUCS. The company has a capitalization of 289.85 million lei according to a 15.30 lei quota settled today.
