Romanian President Plans To Discuss Economic Crisis Issue With Political Leaders
Publish date: 15-06-2009Romania President Traian Basescu said Sunday he plans to discuss the economic crisis issue, in the upcoming period, not only with ministers, but also with political leaders, considering that economic solutions must be accepted in a general debate at society level, sources close to the matter said.
According to the same sources, Basescu also stressed, during the government meeting, that the Executive must strive to financially support investments and recommended the Finance Ministry continue to contract loans in lei from the local market.
Furthermore, Basescu said the ministers ought to clearly explain to their own political parties the economic recession situation Romania faces.
