Prince Albert of Monaco pays official visit to Romania
Publish date: 22-04-2009Prince Albert II of Monaco is paying an official visit to Romania on April 23 and 24 this year, at the invitation of President Traian Basescu, Presidential Administration announced on Wednesday in a press release.
Within the official talks, the two heads of state will refer to the boosting of the political dialogue between Romania and the Principality of Monaco, as well as to the diversification of the cooperation fields between the two states, stressed the quoted source.
Consequently, ways of giving an impetus to the economic and scientific cooperation will be examined and an exchange of views is expected on the common interest topics, as the current economic and financial crisis, combating the climatic changes and environment protection, the Presidential Administration also informed.
'In connection with the environment protection, Romania's President and the Sovereign Prince of Monaco will examine the possibilities of correlation of the projects promoted by the two states in the Mediterranean Sea and the Black Sea regions', says the release.
Prince Albert II is to visit several objectives in the Danube Delta (east) and a meeting with Tulcea municipality officials is scheduled.
