Romanian Fondul Proprietatea To Pay 2007 Dividends Sep 15
Publish date: 15-09-2008Romania's investment fund Fondul Proprietatea will pay dividends worth 0.0659 lei (EUR1= RON3.6031)/share for 2007, as of September 15, the company said Friday in a press statement.
In 2007, the company reported a net profit of RON313.1 million, 4.3-fold higher compared with 2006 profit and revenue worth RON410 million.
On June 27, Fondul Proprietatea's banking deposits totaled RON852 million.
Romania, through the Ministry of Economy and Finance, is the majority shareholder in Fondul Proprietatea.
Fondul Proprietatea was set up in December 2005 to compensate Romanians whose properties were confiscated during the communist regime.
