Raiffeisen Vienna and Credit Europe Bank to become BVB brokers

Raiffeisen Centrobank Vienna and Credit Europe Bank will the enter Romanian broker companies market this month, attracted by state titles listed on the Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) one month ago.
Market sources said both companies could bring important investors on the local stock market. Currently, WOOD & Company Financial Services is the only foreign brokerage company member of Bucharest Stock Exchange. Raiffeisen is already operating on the market, through its Raiffeisen Capital & Investment (RCI) branch, one of the top brokers on BVB. RCI brokered transactions worth some €250 million this year.
The top ten brokers control almost 60 percent of the market. 76 brokerage companies are operating in Romania. The most significant ones are owned by banks.
