Financial company SIF Banat-Crisana underwrites to the share capital hike in Calipso Oradea
Publish date: 27-08-2008One of the five financial companies in Romania known as SIF, SIF Banat-Crisana or SIF1, chipped 36.5 million lei to the share capital increase in food producer and distributor Calipso Oradea.
The financial company acquired 14.6 million shares with the money, which is 86.2 percent of the shares issued. The price per share was 2.50 lei same as the face value.
Shareholders of Calipso Oradea (CAOR) decided at the June 27 meeting to raise the company's share capital. Consequently, 16.93 million shares were issued and shareholders could underwrite 14 new shares for each share they held.
The company's share capital before increase stood at 3.02 million lei, divided into 1.2 million shares at a face value of 2.50 lei. SIF Banat-Crisana controlled 87.13 percent of the share capital.
The company's market value is 11.98 million lei for the 9.90 lei trading price today.
