Ovidiu Tender paid €5 mln to enter the Slovenian market
Publish date: 08-08-2008Vulcan International Gmbh Vienna, controlled by businessman Ovidiu Tender, paid some €5 million for 80 percent of a metal processing factory in Slovenia.
The plant completes Vulcan Ploiesti's product portfolio and is the first acquisition Tender makes in Slovenia. Tender recently said he plans to enter the Hungarian market through an acquisition. Negotiations for the plant in Hungary will be finalized in September.
Tender SA and Vulcan Bucharest companies sold 86 percent of Atlas Gip Ploiesti logging company to US Weatherford International for €16.87 mln, which Ovidiu Tender plans to invest in Romania or other companies he owns abroad.
