Orange Romania incomes increased by 8.8 percent in H1
Publish date: 01-08-2008Orange Romania, largest mobile phone operator in terms of turnover and clients, increased income by 8.8 percent in the first half of this year, to €321 million, while its client base reached 10.088 million, 18 percent higher than in H1 2007.
The growth rate is some three times lower than that in 2007. According to Moat, the financial market crisis did not affect the Romanian telecom market. The number of broadband clients soared 135 percent, by 1.129 million. Last year, Orange income was subject to a 24.3 percent growth rate, to €1.234 billion.
