President Basescu signs decree on ratification of Lisbon Treaty

President Traian Basescu signed on Tuesday a decree by which he puts forward to the Romanian Parliament for ratification the Treaty of Lisbon, which modifies the European Union Treaty and the Treaty on setting up the European Community, the President's Office said in a press release.

The Treaty was signed in Lisbon on Dec. 13, 2007.
