Low-cost leader Ryanair coming to Romania
Publish date: 19-12-2007Ireland-based low cost airliner, Ryanair, leader of the European low-cost market, is to enter Romania as of next year, with flights from the northern Romanian city of Arad to the Italian cities of Milan and Bergamo, three times a week, as of April, according to company representatives.
Ryanair's Manager for Northern Europe, Wilhelm Hamilton, estimated there will be some 40,000 annual passengers to the new destination, according to Mediafax newswire. He added that tickets for this flight will cost €12.99, including airport fees, only available online, Hamilton said.
Ryanair operates 605 routes in Europe, to 26 countries.
