Stoica resigns as President of BVB
Publish date: 19-11-2007Septimiu Stoica resigned from his position as President of the Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB), which he has held since February 2006. "I have decided to give up the position of Chairman of the Board of Directors of BVB," said Stoica.
Elections for BVB's new president will take place on 18 December, and one of the candidates is Stere Farmache, who has the backing of the Board of Directors. "The meeting on 18 December will be held to amend the by-laws in order to amalgamate the positions of President and General Manager," said Stoica.
