Islamic revolution victory celebrated in Bucharest
Publish date: 10-02-2007On the occasion of 28th anniversary of Islamic Revolution victory, a banquet was held in Bucharest Diplomatic Club on Friday.
According to the report of Iran's embassy in Bucharest, a number of Romanian senior officials from ministries of foreign affairs, economics, commerce, culture and religion, defence, education and researches attended the ceremony.
Romanian parliament deputies as well as foreign diplomats in Romania, religious, political, economic and cultural characters from private and public sectors were among other guests.
According to the report, Vatican ambassador as the doyen called Iran a country with an ancient civilization and culture and felicitated country's national day to Iran's government and nation.
Iran's Ambassador to Bucharest Ali-Akbar Farazi welcomed all distinguish guests and called Romania an old friend and traditional partner of Iran.
