Bricostore To Expand Network In Country
Publish date: 31-01-2007DIY chain Bricostore Romania has said it plans to expand its network in the country by at least three outlets in 2007, investing E8.0m to 10m on each store. Bricostore Romania currently operates seven outlets in the country - four in Bucharest and one each in Brasov, Ploiesti and Constanta.
The company also said its expansion in Romania will continue at the rate of three to five stores a year for the near future. The company expects to open its next stores in autumn 2007, in the cities of Targoviste and Pitesti.
Bricostore Romania said it will target cities with a population of over 200,000 people, while its long term strategy includes expansion to smaller cities and create a 30-store network across the country. It registered a 25% increase in its 2006 turnover.
