Within six years, approx. 1,200 km of motorway will be operational in Romania, Minister of Transport, Construction and Tourism Gheorghe Dobre told Gandul daily in an interview. "In 2006-2012 approx. 1,200 km of motorway will be built. Apart from these projects, we have to repair a total 3,000 km of roads. It may seem hard to believe, but within six years we will have motorways in Romania," Dobre emphasized.
