Gov't to adopt next week methodological norms for the application of tax evasion measures
Publish date: 23-07-2010The Government will approve next week the methodological norms for the applications of measures against tax evasion, following the ones for the application of the Tax Code to be adopted in due time,' Prime Minister Emil Boc on Thursday announced.
"According to legal provisions, we will approve the implementing rules for tax evasion measures next week, following that, within the deadline established by Emergency Ordinance, to approve the rules for the application of the Tax Code. I want to assure you that we will not fail the deadline, not even by one day. Taking into account that the payments for July are actually made in August, we must have the norms before the end of the month. We're not running out of time, time is no problem,' said Boc.
The deadline for the adoption of the detailed procedures for the Tax Code expire within 30 days since the date of publication of the Emergency Ordinance amending this act in the Official Gazette. The relevant Ordinance was published on June 30.
