BCR to launch a monthly monitoring report of the most representative companies on the bourseUpdated: 03-09-2008 |
The research division of Romania's largest bank by assets, BCR Equity Research, released a monthly monitoring report of the capital market which includes 83 companies with a 17.2 billion euros capitalization for the first edition, the bank announced.
BCR Valuation Monitor presents a selection of the most representative companies listed on the Bucharest Stock Exchange (BSE) and on the Rasdaq over-the-counter market, grouped in 13 fields of activity.
The 83 companies included in the first edition have a free-float capitalization of just 3.6 billion euros. The free-float on the Romanian market represents just 21 percent of the total capitalization of the selected companies.
Companies can be added or excluded from the monitoring list each month. BCR does not make estimates regarding the future evolution of the main financial indicators, but only uses information from the companies' revenues and expenses budgets.
The lender's report will present indicators such as the daily volatility of closing prices in the past 90 trading sessions, which is the most relevant measure of the investment risk.
