Romania's financial companies drop 2.68% on closing on the BSE, after investors cashed profits

The five financial companies in Romania (SIFs) posted significant falls in today's session on the Bucharest Stock Exchange (BSE), after considerable climbs yesterday.
Liquidity plunged 38.3 percent to 22.13 million lei (6.2 million euros) from 35.86 million lei in the previous session.
The BET index of the ten best companies on the bourse slipped 0.66 percent to 5,527.85 and the BET-C composite index measuring all listed shares minus investment funds lost 0.77 percent to 4,096.74.
The BET-FI index of the five financial companies SIF depreciated 2.68 percent to 34,778.10 and the ROTX index for trading blue-chips in Vienna fell 0.81 percent to 13,124.86.
The BET-XT index measuring the best 25 companies on BSE dipped 1.22 percent to 589.45 and the BET-NG index of the ten power companies on the bourse slipped 0.39 percent to 772.79.
The main European bourses registered significant drops at closing hour in Bucharest. The DAX index in Frankfurt lost 0.70 percent to 6,472.55 and the CAC40 index in Paris lowered 1.55 percent to 4,468.81. The FTSE index in London fell 1.81 percent to 5,518.80.
